THE PLATFORM

The cloud PACS platform, in detail.

What a radiology department needs every day, with no server on site and no software to install on each workstation.

  • A DICOM reading viewer in the browser

Built on OHIF and Cornerstone3D: multiplanar reconstruction, measurements, and the prior study beside the current one.

  • The report is written where the image is read

Templates, voice dictation, signature and addendum, critical-result alerts, then a PDF sent to your system.

  • AI suggestions in the viewer

AI engines mark findings on the image as suggestions. The radiologist accepts, edits or rejects each one, and what is accepted goes into the report.

  • A cloud PACS archive and a small gateway

A gateway on site receives from the modalities, holds the images if the line drops, then sends them.

  • A second opinion and a call on the study

Messages on the study, a second opinion from a colleague or an outside doctor by secure link, and a video call that is never recorded.

WHO IT IS FOR

Built for everyone in the center.

Everyone in the center starts with a different question. Bayan starts from theirs.

Built for everyone in the center.

Radiologist

What's next on my list, with the prior beside it?

  • A reading list by priority and deadline, for one center or several.
  • A reading viewer in the browser with the report beside the image: template or dictation, then sign.
  • Priors of the same patient only, matched with a careful identity check.

Technologist

Did the study arrive complete? Can the patient leave?

  • A station showing your devices, today, and each series filling up until it is complete.
  • Upload a prior study from another center's CD, checked before it is kept.
  • The on-site gateway's state in front of you: connected, or holding images until the line is back.

Referring physician

What's my patient's result?

  • A page per patient that opens on the report, then the key images.
  • Works on a phone, and shows only their own patients.

Patient

How do I get my images and send them to my doctor?

  • A link and an access code instead of a disc: no account, no app.
  • A clear page in Arabic or English, image download, and sending to another doctor.

Center admin

Is everything working, and who opened what?

  • An operations board: gateways, the RIS connection, storage and the team.
  • Share links and revoking them, and an audit log of every open and download.

TELE-READING

No radiologist on site? The report arrives signed.

Bayan contracts licensed radiologists. Your study is assigned to one who fits the exam, they read and sign, and the report comes back to your center.

  1. The study arrivesFrom your modality to Bayan through the gateway, like any study.
  2. It is assignedBy exam type, subspecialty and priority.
  3. Read and signedUnder the radiologist's licence, with the deadline tracked.
  4. The report returnsTo your center and your system, and to the patient by link.
  • A price per case, by exam type
  • An agreed reading deadline and a monthly report on it
  • A clear monthly statement for the center

INTEGRATION

Your system stays the source of truth.

Orders and patient identity come from your RIS or HIS. Bayan puts them on the modalities, and sends the status and the report back.

  1. Your systemThe order and the patient's identity
  2. On-site gatewayA worklist for the modalities
  3. ModalityThe exam under the right patient
  4. BayanArchive, reading and the report
  5. Your systemStatus and report come back to it

nixpend

Bayan is part of the Nixpend family. Its connector pulls radiology orders from Nixpend and reports their status back, and the images open from inside Nixpend with one link.

Any other system

Through open standards, without a custom project per center:

  • RIS
  • HIS
  • EMR
  • HL7 v2
  • FHIR R4
  • DICOM MWL
  • DICOMweb

The report is written in Bayan or arrives from your system: each center chooses. Corrections to patient data stay in your system and reach Bayan from it, with a record.

DATA RESIDENCY

For Saudi centers: hosting in the Kingdom is the plan.

We intend to host Saudi centers' data in data centers inside Saudi Arabia. We do not state it as a fact today. Before any real patient data, the contract names exactly where your data lives.

SECURITY

Every center isolated, every open recorded.

  • Isolation

Each center's data is separated inside the database by row-level policies, and its images sit in storage of its own.

  • Audit

Every open, share and download goes into a chained log that shows any later edit or deletion.

  • Encryption

Connections are encrypted, and images are encrypted at rest with a key per center.

  • Access

Two-step sign-in for staff, separate roles per job, and share links with a code that expire and can be revoked.

See Bayan on your own center.

A trial on synthetic data, arranged with you.
