Images that leave the imaging computer
In many dental clinics the images live inside the software that came with the unit, on one workstation. Bayan receives the studies over DICOM, and where the imaging software can only export files, a small bridge watches the export folder and sends each study by itself.
What the clinic gains
The same study, wherever the dentist is.
- CBCT volumes opened in the browser with multiplanar reconstruction and measurements.
- Every dentist in the clinic sees the study from their own room, with nothing to install.
- The patient and the referring dentist get a link and a code instead of a disc.
- One archive for all branches, with each open and share recorded.
Large studies, ordinary internet
A CBCT can be hundreds of megabytes. The gateway sends it in the background and holds it if the line drops, so the chair-side workflow does not wait.
Questions centers ask
Does it work with our panoramic or CBCT unit?
With any unit or imaging software that sends or exports DICOM. For software that only exports to a folder, a small bridge sends the files from that folder.
Can a referring dentist see the images?
Yes. You send a link and a code. They open the study in the browser, and the link expires or is revoked when you decide.
Do we need a server in the clinic?
No. Only a small gateway or bridge on the imaging computer or the network.
