A web DICOM viewer built for reading

Bayan opens studies in a reading viewer inside the browser, built on OHIF and Cornerstone3D. There is nothing to install, and the report is written in the same window.

What the viewer does

The tools a radiologist reaches for all day.

  • Multiplanar reconstruction for CT and MR.
  • Window and level, zoom, pan, and measurements of length and angle.
  • The prior study hung beside the current one, scrolling together.
  • A studies panel with every series and the patient earlier exams.
  • AI findings drawn on the image as suggestions.

The report in the same window

The report panel sits beside the image: start from a template or dictate, sign, add an addendum later, and flag a critical result. The signed report goes to your system as a PDF.

Nothing to install

The viewer runs in a current browser on the reading workstation, at home, or on a laptop on call. There is no plug-in and no per-seat installer, and every radiologist sees the same tools.

A lighter view for everyone else

A referring physician or a patient who opens a shared link gets a simple page: the report first, then the key images, on a phone.

Questions centers ask

What is the viewer built on?

OHIF and Cornerstone3D, the open-source viewer and rendering library used widely in medical imaging, adapted for Bayan.

Does it compare with a prior study?

Yes. The earlier study of the same modality is hung beside the current one and the two scroll together.

Which browsers work?

Current versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari.

Can we keep our own viewer?

Bayan exposes studies over DICOMweb, so other DICOMweb software can read them when your center allows it.
